Renowned classic toy retailer Hornby Hobbies are celebrated for their iconic model railways, trains and a portfolio of beloved brands including Scalextric, Corgi, and Airfix. We have been working closely with the brand to transform their Margate-based Visitor Centre into the Hornby Hobbies WonderWorks. The existing visitor centre had grown tired and needed substantial reimagining in order to bring the space up to date, and to encourage a more immersive experience for visitors. 

The project’s scope included the creation of new experiential spaces dedicated to each of Hornby Hobbies’ revered brands, the expansion of retail areas, enhancements to the cafe and new external signage. The new space captures the vibrant and bold colours aligning with its rebranded identity. 

Taking on the challenge from concept to completion, the team skilfully translated the vision crafted by Hornby’s branding team into a tangible reality and breathed new life into a cherished destination for enthusiasts of all ages.
