Refurbishment of the reception, bar and restaurant of a family-owned hotel overlooking Windermere in the Lake District, following a successful redesign of their lounge in 2010.

The Hillthwaite Hotel prides itself on its stunning location and views, wanting impressive interiors to match. We were tasked with creating a wedding function room with wow-factor and a cosy, inviting bar and restaurant to encourage guests to dine at the hotel.

Our design transformed the hotel into a warm, welcoming, stylish venue. We used a palette of grey hues and a scheme of stone flooring, wool carpets, leather booth seating and a leather-clad bar front to reflect the surrounding landscape. Sparkling LED chandeliers reminiscent of the sparkling lake to add a touch of glamour.
