Interior Design for HMRC. Committed to their Building Our Future Locations Programme, HMRC commissioned Ward Robinson to create a new ‘showcase’ for their office environment and Events Centre.

The model office and events space had to be designed so they not only met business sustainability, DSE and diversity requirements but also increased flexibility and value for money across the estate. The design for the new space caters for innovative and modern ways of working, creating an environment that engaged people and viewed as a great place to work.

Our scheme created a brighter, open layout. Various styles of seating areas and meeting rooms were designed to inspire collaborative working and quiet working. The decorative theme was based on regional imagery provoking interest and conversation. The scheme brings HMRC up to date with a current modern office environment.

In the Events Centre, an agile working environment was created to be used primarily as a face-to-face engagement and collaboration space with external business customers. The space features first-class professional meeting rooms, fully IT/AV enabled and with a flexible modular design.
