Remodel of existing first floor office space within New Alderley House, Macclesfield District General Hospital into a new staff/student education and training centre. The strategic redesign of this area positions it as the NHS trust’s flagship, drawing inspiration from higher education environments, and supporting the trust in its aspirations to provide improved educational facilities.

Beyond the traditional, the new centre includes a library, state-of-the-art training rooms, classrooms, simulation, breakout, and touchdown spaces as well as supporting facilities for staff, locker provision, print stations and dedicated hot and cold drinks facilities.  We provided a full interior design service including ceiling treatments, selection of finishes, detailed joinery design and furniture and lighting selections. The furniture has been delivered in partnership with Workwell, with key pieces selected to integrate planting and power throughout the space to support wellbeing and flexibility.
